An introduction to

Riedel MediorNet TDM

This Online interactive presentation will be hosted out of at the Riedel Sydney office.

 

This session is primarily designed for people working with audiovisual systems, but is open to anyone who would like to learn more about how MediorNet can be used to set up a flexible media distribution platform.

 

What we will cover

    •    Introduction to the MediorNet family of hardware
    •    System overview
    •    Software defined hardware (Transport + Processing + Routing + “apps”)
    •    Scalability  - simplicity
    •    Discuss fibre topologies and redundancy

    •    MediorWorks Software
    •    System configuration

    •    Transport and routing of baseband signals through MediorNet
    •    Inputs and yes, you've guessed it, outputs
    •    Signal formats
    •    Operations
    •    Routing
    •    Processing
    •    Audio embedding / de-embedding from SDI
    •    Frame synchronization
    •    Colour adjustment
    •    Built in glue-ware features
    •    Timing

There will be time for Q&A at the end of the session.

 

Prerequisites:

If you have already worked with Mediornet, then you probably already know a lot of the content of this course 

It could be advantageous if you have already worked with video routers, matrices and fibre extender systems, understanding of baseband video and audio signals, or the synchronizations of signals

A basic understanding of SDI, broadcast , MADI.
